Dexter brake assemblies like the # 23-464-465 are widely considered to be the best and highest quality trailer axle/suspension components which is why they cost more than the # AKEBRK-7-SA. Some of the quality difference wouldn't make much of a difference but if you wanted the absolute best to help you sleep better at night the Dexter is the way to go but the # AKEBRK-7-SA is also really solid and we've not known it to have any issues. If the air bag on your Lippert Trailair Air Ride Pin Box # LC158778 were to malfunction and no longer hold air you would NOT be stuck, but you'll want to get the trailer off the road and to a service center for repairs as soon as possible to replace the bag.
